Our Purpose

We strive to make high-quality and effective plant and mushroom-based formulations available to as many people as possible . So far, this reads like a typical corporate mission statement. What really makes us different is we want to help bring an end to traditional single-use plastics made from fossil fuels. We believe any company focusing on creating healthier bodies must also strive to create a healthier planet because, for one thing, we cannot continue to create healthy bodies on a sick planet. We hope other companies join us in our mission to clean up this wasteful industry.

Our Products

We seek out the best suppliers with the highest standards and create formulations based on the latest science. If we find something better or new science comes out, we adapt as we try to stay at the cutting edge. As we constantly invest in our products and pay much more for our packaging versus traditional plastic containers the expectation would naturally be that our products are expensive. Instead, we keep our prices competitive in order to reach as broad of a market as possible to further our mission of disrupting the status quo in the industry. Our goal is to make change in the lives of our customers and the ecosystem we share, focusing on profit margins won’t get us there.

Our Packaging

Our products are packaged in compostable bags with compostable labels. All of our shipping materials are plastic-free, recyclable, and many are made from recycled materials. Our padded mailers are stuffed with recycled newspaper instead of plastic bubble wrap, our shipping tape is made from fiberglass-reinforced paper instead of plastic, and our shipping labels are made of recycled materials and fully recyclable.

You can compost our packaging at-home or at an industrial facility that accepts bioplastics. The material will break down faster in an industrial facility due to optimized conditions but it’s also designed to break down in any well-managed compost heap that achieves thermophilic conditions. In order to offer all of our customers a chance to be circular, you can send them back to us for composting. If you can’t find a local composting solution, send the bags to us at the address below.

Our People

WildHeart Nutrition was founded by Chelsea and Jerrod Appenzeller. They’re both parents, community leaders, and entrepreneurs. Jerrod is also a business analytics professional and competitive athlete.
